Creating Abundance And The Awareness Of The Law Of Repulsion
In the field of creating abundance much of the attention is placed on the Law of Attraction. There is another law, the Law of Repulsion. I first heard about it when I read How to Solve All of Your Money Problems Forever. Victor Boc, the author, makes the promise stated in the title without a second thought.
The Law of Repulsion is based on a simple concept but very profound. Many people use the practices of the Law of Attraction without success and wonder what’s wrong. They think the law doesn’t working instead of questioning how their actions aren’t working. Boc’s explanation of the Law of Repulsion makes logical sense.
If we can pull something to us, doesn’t it make sense that we can also push it away? Intuitively, that does make sense, but you’re asking yourself, if you really desire something, why would you push it away. Of course, that’s a great question. The answer is that the pushing takes place mainly subconsciously.
If something was not stopping the attracting process then everybody would have everything they are desiring. Sadly, that is not the case. In fact, the majority of people do not attract what they want.
That is when the Law of Repulsion comes into effect. We are capable of sending mixed messages to the Universe. I want lots of money, but I also think only greedy people make lots of money. I want people to respect me but I don’t respect myself. I want to be as thin and beautiful as the celebrities, but I don’t take care of my body.
The piece of the equation that effects this dynamic is how much energy that goes into each belief? Does the positive part receive the most energy or the negative part? It is that simple. Remember that all life is energy. When the positive receives more energy, it is attracting and when the negative is receiving the most it is repelling.
The process is very profound. When we measure with numbers, the best case scenario is 100% attracting and 0% repulsing. A stand off is 50/50. We can say that you must pull something to you with at least 51% of the energy. That would be the worst case scenario in attracting. So, the difference is a mere 1% between attracting and repulsing.
Fortunately, we can overcome 1%. How do we know that? We look at the pros and the cons of what we desire. We tweak what we do. Is it too simple?
I think we have a tendency to make life hard. We are programmed in so many ways to think we have to work hard to have something. That’s how the expression, work smart not hard, evolved.
“It’s not worth having if you don’t work for it.” Tell that to someone who just won the lottery. Let me be clear. I’m not saying we don’t have to put energy into what we want, but it really can be simple.
Simple is not the same as easy. Einstein had a wonderful quote, “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”
Are you asking yourself what you’re going to do with this information? Great question and here’s an equally great answer. First of all, relax with it. Awareness is the first step toward change. Think about something you’ve wanted but have not pulled into your life. Is the Law of Repulsion operating in some way? Make a change remembering that the change could be as small an adjustment as 1%!
Should the change require a bigger movement, let’s say 49%, do not let it overwhelm you. This is an appropriate time to remember that baby steps are needed. Be sure to give yourself encouragement and acknowledge every step you make toward your desire. When it comes to creating abundance there are two laws, the Law of Attraction and the Law of Repulsion. Be aware of both!

The consequences of these decisions will make you feel poorly about yourself – it’s a vicious cycle. Before you know it, you’ll be facing depression and all of its attendant side effects. The Decision To Make For John
John was looking forward to leaving his office that day. Today was going to be the last day that he had to do any type of battle with the icy roads anymore. Then he would be able to stay home safe with his family knowing that they would enjoy having him home again all the time.
As he left his office for the last time he gave his secretary a gift to show his appreciation for all the years of work that she did for him. She had some tears welling up in her eyes because she was losing the only boss that she had ever known. She had started working for him twenty years ago when she was only sixteen. Heck, John was even her child’s god parent so at least she would still be able to see him from time to time because they usually did Easter dinner together at the church.
John turned around and handed Lisa a piece of paper that had a web site address listed on it. She did not know what the site would hold, but when she went to the site she found all of his stock trading strategies. Those were some of the best tips that he had ever given out. Those tips were going to help her keep from having to go back to working for any other boss.

Life isn’t the sweetest candy. Sometimes, when I feel like the world is just too heavy, I look around and find people who continued to live fascinating and wonderful lives. And then thoughts come popping into my mind like bubbles from nowhere – “How did their life become so adorably sweet? How come they still can manage to laugh and play around despite a busy stressful life?” Then I pause and observed for awhile… I figured out that maybe, they start to work on a place called ‘self’.
So, how does one become genuinely happy? Step 1 is to love yourself.
My own Life Coach once said that “loving means accepting.” To love oneself means to accept that you are not a perfect being, but behind the imperfections must lie a great ounce of courage to be able to discover ways on how to improve your repertoire to recover from our mistakes.
Genuine happiness also pertains to contentment. When you are contented with the job you have, the way you look, with your family, your friends, the place you live in, your car, and all the things you now have – truly, you know the answer to the question “how to be genuinely happy.”
When we discover a small start somewhere from within, that small start will eventually lead to something else, and to something else. But if you keep questioning life lit it has never done you any good, you will never be able to find genuine happiness.
I believe that life is about finding out about right and wrong, trying and failing, winning and losing. These are things that happen as often as you inhale and exhale. Failure, in a person’s life has become as abundant and necessary as air. But this should not hinder us from becoming happy.
How to be genuinely happy in spite all these? I tell you… every time you exert effort to improve the quality of life and your being, whether it is cleaning up your room, helping a friend, taking care of your sick dog, fail on board exams and trying again, life gives you equivalent points for that.
Imagine life as a big score board like those which are used in the NFLs. Every time you take a step forward, you make scoring points. Wouldn’t it be nice to look at that board at the end of each game and think to yourself “Whew! I got a point today. I’m glad I gave it a shot”, instead of looking at it all blank and murmur “Geez, I didn’t even hit a score today. I wish I had the guts to try out. We could have won!” and then walk away.
Genuine happiness isn’t about driving the hottest Formula 1 car, nor getting the employee of the year award, earning the highest 13th month pay, or beating the sales quota. Sometimes, the most sought after prizes in life doesn’t always go to the fastest, the strongest, the bravest or not even the best. So, how do you become genuinely happy? Everyone has his own definition of ‘happiness’. Happiness for a writer may mean launching as much bestselling books as possible. Happiness for a basketball rookie may mean getting the rookie of the year award. Happiness for a beggar may mean a lot of money. Happiness for a business man may mean success. So, really now, how do we become genuinely happy? Simple. You don’t have to have the best things in this world. It’s about doing and making the best out of every single thing. When you find yourself smiling at your own mistake and telling yourself “Oh, I’ll do better next time”, you carry with you a flame of strong willpower to persevere that may spread out like a bushfire. You possess a willingness to stand up again and try – that will make you a genuinely happy person.
When you learn to accept yourself and your own faults, you pass step 1 in the project “how to become genuinely happy”. For as long as you know how to accept others, you will also be accepted. For as long as you love and know how to love, you will receive love tenfolds back.
Again, throw me that same question “how to become genuinely happy?”. I’ll refer you to a friend of mine who strongly quoted- “Most of us know that laughter is the best medicine to life’s aches and pain. But most of us don’t know that the best kind of laughter is laughter over self. Coz then you don’t just become happy… you become free.”

Affirmation Cards – A Positive And Fun Project
Affirmations cards are a wonderful way to display affirmations. You are more likely to develop the habit of using affirmations if you see these statements more often. There are many great affirmation cards on the market, but making your own has the benefit of allowing you to customize your messages. Here are four easy steps to a fun, easy and positive project.
Step one. What area or areas of your life would you like to improve? What is stressing you out right now? Just make a stream of thought list. Keep asking yourself what is bothering you until you run out of ideas. When you have everything written down take a look at the list and get a feel for the topics that you want to work on. It may be work, health, money, exercise or a little bit of everything.
Step two. Create affirmations that help solve the problems you listed in step one. Mentally transport yourself to the future where you have solved all these problems and have received or attained all you want. What statements would you make then? Create a positive, present-tense affirmation. Revise each affirmation until all the words are positive and they feel good to you when you repeat them.

Step four. Use your affirmation cards. Pull a card every morning and repeat it throughout your day. You may be able to view your sunset. Take the time to enjoy its beauty. Do not worry about the inevitable nightfall. Have fun and enjoy fewer responsibilities. Sell that minivan or SUV and buy a car for you. Throw out that 12 cup coffee machine. Buy a 4 cup coffee maker. Enjoy the time that you are given. Nobody knows when it will end.
There may be many aches and pains that come withe the change of season. Make allowances for the weather. Do not try to do all of the things that a twenty year old can do. The less you do, the less you may hurt.
Are these your reclining years? That may not be the best outlook. Try thinking of them as football game. When it starts, there is no score. At halftime, the score means little. These games of life are usually very competitive. The score may be tied late in the game. The last quarter is often the most exciting part of the entire event. The game may not end after four quarters. There may be overtime. No one knows when that period may end.
